14 April 2004 ~ Well, without the pi anyway

oooh, an entry from me at long last.

Don't expect anything too profound though - just passing through really.

The last few work days has seen me cleaning my keyboard. I've been removing the keys one by one and giving them a much needed cleanse, which has left me with the following thoughts:

1) oooh - shiny
2) the left ctrl key was the most difficult to remove
3) the + key on the number pad was the most difficult to replace
4) the 3£ key travelled the furthest when leaving the keyboard with the aid of scissors
5) the J was the most disappointing as it just turned over in it's place and didn't fly anywhere
6) the keyboard no longer makes a slight crunching sound whenever I press a key
7) the keys no longer feel sticky
8) I can touch type with 93.4% accuracy when letters are replaced in the wrong position
9) I have a pile of 'stuff' that emerged from the keyboard. This consists mostly of crumbs and hairs, but also, and quite strangely, two paperclips, five staples and a propeller from a kinderegg toy plane.
10) sneezing whilst examining the keyboard 'stuff' results in 32% of it returning to its rightful place inside the keyboard, 14% remaining stuck to desk, 17% landing in my cup of coffee, and the remaining 37% disappearing somewhere else.

I also think that having an opinion looks rather similar to having an onion.
