Welcome to the new year. 2004. Here at last. Huzzah.

The end of 2003 led me to finding the answer of 'what is the price of happiness?', an age old question and one that I can now provide the answer to.

£71.50

It was a very simple formula to work it out as well.

Firstly, and possibly the most importantly, make sure you have had copious amounts of alcohol - primarily beer and red wine. Then you need to walk around the room finding any of the small loose change that has worked its way into various nooks and crannies...that's crannies, not grannies!...and put them all into a pile on the floor. Then, direct someone else to sort them into their relevant denominations and then stack them into piles of a nice round sum. An hour later and I find that I am £71.50 to the better. Marvellous.

Unfortunately I now have to cart all of this crap to the bank to get it changed.
